To be honest, I’m a relatively late starter when it comes to photography. I only started taking photos properly about two years ago. During a difficult time in my life, I was looking for a new hobby and a positive outlet to focus my attention on. I came across a street photography documentary on YouTube that a friend had shared online. That fired up a little flame of interest, so the next day, I went out with my phone to give it a go. The results weren’t great, but I loved it.
I’ve been hooked ever since. I absolutely love street photography and I use it as a kind of therapy and a way to practice mindfulness now too.
My street photography is candid and focused around people or abstract interpretations. I love trying to portray the theme of timelessness and nostalgia in my photos.
