Feature of the Week winners for weeks 1- 12 will be featured in issue 1, due for publication on June 1 2019. I really started to get into photography when I moved to London nine years ago from the Midlands. Initially I was drawn to taking pictures of the more brutalist side of London architecture and my images were quite graphic and minimal.
I gravitated towards street photography after attending a street photography course with Brian Lloyd-Duckett, and now I like to combine these elements, often framing my subjects with strong lines and contrasting them with their urban landscape.
I am also drawn to bold colour and this can often be seen as a feature in my pictures.
I am lucky enough to work all over London and so spend many a lunch hour roaming the streets looking for my next picture.
